My nights.

Often consist of putting off homework and watching YouTube videos of songs done in ASL.
I've always wanted to learn ASL.  Maybe next year after I am done with my undergrad, I will take some classes.
It is such a beautiful language.

Transatlanticism

I have been sitting here for two hours listening to Death Cab for Cutie and realized I have almost another two hours of their albums left.  4 hours of Death Cab...that is a lot of Death Cab.  It is also a lot of clearing of the mind.  Such good therapy.

Day 21 and 22

I am quite terrible at keeping up with this thing.

21- A picture of something you wish you could forget.

The day I had to call 911 and have the ambulances come to my home because my dad was in so much pain that he could not get up.

How the world went from seeing "men" as people like Frank Sinatra and James Dean to seeing "men" as douchey kids like Alex Gliahjgkhaoasdfsdfgh from All Time Low and whatever the dudes name is from Never Shout Never.  It really saddens me.

Adele - 21  ~ I think this album might be better than her last one.  Her vocals are crazy good.  It is a must have!

Bayside - Killing Time   ~ Wow, where did this band go?  Reminds me of when I was 16.  Sounds like the Bayside I once knew.  So glad to hear they didn't change.

Patrick Stump - Truant Wave  ~ Umm did he get fed up with Fall Out Boy?!  Its really poppy and there are some dancey tracks too. 6 songs for 3 bucks.  Might just buy it.

D.R.U.G.S. -  Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows  ~  Really not sure how I feel about this band yet.  I absolutely think that Craig Owens is one freaking talented dude.  His words have always got to me.  However, this band....uhhh no words yet.

Katie Costello - Lamplight  ~  Cute songs.

Sean Rowe - Magic  ~ He has got that deep singer/songwriter voice that makes me feel at home. Amazing.

Today is Great

The sun is shining.  It is 60 degrees out.  My window is open.  I have talked to my best friend on the phone.  I called my Grandma just to chat.  My math class was cancelled.  I have a STAND meeting tonight.  I might have a few drinks with my old bestie, Nat.  I made Kool-Aid.  I have one full day until I get 3 visitors.

Day 14

Sorry, you guys are probably sick of pictures with L but really, she is my other half.  We have been through everything in our lives together.  L is my best friend first and cousin second.  No one ever said we HAD to be friends it just comes natural to us.  She never judges me and will always listen.  We have cried on each others shoulders, laughed at each others dumbness and just sat in silence when there were no words to be spoken.  We have dreamt crazy dreams together and planned futures that were too far out of reach.  We have gotten grounded together and met some amazing people together.  If I didn't have her, I would be lost.  I would not be who I am.  I would be incomplete.
I love her more than words can explain!

Why is it I just learned about this band like last week? They are so good. They have that perfect singer songwriter feel to them. A tad of country and folk once in awhile, a bit indie and a bit rock&roll.

I suppose its better finding out about them now than never!

Working with preschool and kindergarten children everyday, I know this is completely true. I wish we could all think the way 4-6 year olds do. They don't care if there is something different about any one of us. They love us all the same.

Day 11

Everyone that knows me know that I hate this kid.  I have not an ounce of respect for him.

Although I have never seen one or had to go through one personally.  I hate tornadoes and tornado weather.  Really i just hate bad weather no matter the outcome.

My mom always tells me she can't wait for Jesse and I to get hitched so she can have gorgeous eyed grandbabies.

Okay, I'm sorry but I can't take this one seriously.  I am 22.  I have no boyfriend.  I have a whole lot of life ahead of me before I settle down and see myself being with someone in the future.  Ask again in like 5 years :)
