I am clearly aware that fun. has been making music since 2009 but their newest album is probably the best album I have heard in a long freaking time.  Being part of the 'scene' back in the day, I was in love with The Format, there was something about them that I could never get enough of.  So when fun. came along I was one happy camper once again.
Anyway, Some Nights is the best album on so many levels.  I can honestly say there is not a single song on the record that I do not like.  The lyrics and music are pretty damn close to perfect.  If you have not already, get the record.  I promise you will not be disappointed.

I am on a Jimmy Eat World (jimmy eats the world as my mom still calls them) kick.  This is one band from my early high school days that will never get old to me.  These are just a couple of my favorites.




I really hate that A Cinderella Story is the video to this but oh well.  This is my all time favorite Jimmy Eat World song.  It gets me every time it comes through my speakers.

It's been an exciting past month and this girl is the happiest she has ever been.
Life is amazing.
Student teaching is the best thing in the world.
The boy is the best thing in the world.
J is moving 30 min away from me instead of an hour and a half away!
Rick Perry dropping out of the presidential race is some awesome news.
St Patty's Day trip with two of my favorite boys is in the making and coming up! (even though its still two months away)
All my bills from my old apartment are paid off.
aaaaaand Johnny Depp is single!

Life is good.

I had to say good bye to far too many people this weekend.

It would be so fitting right now.

I leave this town, possibly for good, in about 11 days.  I could possibly never...ever...EVER live here again.  It is probably a 97% chance that I will never live here again.  I realized tonight that I am going to miss it a lot.  This city feels more like a home than my hometown ever has.  I have far too many friends here that I have to leave.  I could not wait to get out of my hometown....this town, I wish I had a few more years in it before I was forced to leave.  The next week and a half I am going to enjoy with all my being so that I do not regret letting it slip by.
