Will totally jam to good tunes as well.
However, my future husband will NOT call my child "boo"

Things I've learned
This semester:
- Always eat before you drink
- I unfortunately love Justin Bieber when I'm trashed (sorry matt!)
- I really enjoy living by myself
- I'm really dedicated to my Student Org group - more than I thought I would be
- I have really matured
- I have learned to move on
- Give everyone a chance, they might just surprise you
- I really miss my best friend (not that I didn't know this before this semester)

Iowa Shitty
This is what happens when you go to Iowa City. You get shitfaced on $1 you-call-it and wake up with massive bruises.

Jammin'
If you were to walk into my apartment today, you would think the biggest Hippster on Earth lived there.
Jammin some sweet tunes on my day off.

Jealousy.
I am kind of jealous of some of the talent in this world.
Some kids are just super blessed while there are kids like me who have not a talented bone in their body! ha!

I have cool friends.
Because my momma purchased this cute little flower barrette, another one was made and gave to a woman in Haiti last week. So proud to have friends who do amazing things like this. Thanks Jen :)

Tonight by FM Static
So I decided to take it upon myself to learn ASL slowly. I know all my signs aren't right but I'm just beginning :) Once I have this song down I will post another video of it!!
Oh and I'm not a lefty, the video is just reversed.
and the words will probably be off of the signs because I'm uploading it from the AWESOME Photo Booth application.

Andrew Jenks
Andrew came to UNI on Tuesday and spoke to about 300 or so students.
Once I saw he was going to be at UNI, I knew I had to go. I wanted to see if he really was as great of a guy as he seemed to be on MTV's World of Jenks.
Sure enough, he is.
Andrew spoke about how he got where he is today. He started out with 500 dollars in his pocket and sweet talked his way into getting into a nursing home to film Room 335. From there, he filmed a documentary in Japan about Bobby Valentine. Then, MTV called. The rest, we all know.
He spoke as if he was just one of us. Not for a second during his speech did I get the feeling he thought he was better than any one of us sitting there. He spoke about how to not take "No" for an answer. I believe he put it as, "No became a big turn on for me. If someone said "No". I said "Awesome! Great place to start"". He showed us all that we are capable of doing what we put our minds to.
He never expected to be where he is at today, but he got there.
Anyway, it was a great speech and a great question/answer session.
I even bravely asked a stupid question in which he answered. Not going to lie, I was kind of shaking the whole time he was staring at me and answering my question. Ha!!
Oh and did I mention I had front and center seats?! This kid probably makes some of the best facial expressions. Wish I could have caught them in a picture.

More to come later....
Favorite quote of the night
"How can you be a roll model when you curse every other word and throw up your middle finger in every picture?"
Went and saw Andrew Jenks tonight.
A-maaazing.
Will write more later :)

T. Hilt.
I'm amazed by his talent.
I wish I had the talent to see the places he sees and meet all the people he gets to meet.
Anyway, Des Moines got a little love in this video.
Last ten seconds!
Yours truly was standing under the Exit sign.
